Provider Tobacco & Nicotine Counseling for Adults and Adolescents
The expected outcome of this program is to increase providers’ knowledge about pharmacological and behavioral treatment options for tobacco and nicotine cessation. Further, it will inform providers about conventional and new and emerging tobacco and nicotine products. In addition, providers will gain skills to counsel and refer adolescent patients to age-appropriate tobacco and nicotine prevention resources during a medical visit.
