Keyword ranking isn’t as difficult as it might seem. So long as you use the correct keywords and apply them efficiently, you shouldn’t run into much trouble.

That being said, you do need to follow a few basic steps to get it right. Take a look!

Step #1 – Build a List of Interesting and Relevant Topics

You first need to have an idea of what type of content you will be creating. You can’t do anything with keywords if you don’t know where to fit them in.

Make sure any and all topics you come up with would be interesting to your target audience. You want to make sure the content will be interesting as well as inputting the keywords.

Step #2 – Brainstorm Some Potential Keywords for Those Topics

Now that you have some topics, you can plan out what type of keywords you wish to place where. Do not add them yet, as you still need to perform keyword research later.

This step is merely a brainstorm. You’re going to take each topic and try to come up with a number of keywords for each one. You may also want to consider doing research across various languages.

Step #3 – Perform Keyword Research

Now that you have a decent idea of what you’re doing, you can perform keyword research. Your goal is to learn which of your chosen keywords would be most beneficial. Once you’ve done your research, it should be obvious which ones will work out. You may even discover some new ones you hadn’t thought of yet!

Step #4 – Apply Your Keywords

Now you can create your content and include the chosen keywords! Make sure to follow a 1-2% keyword density as you apply them. Give it some time and you’ll see your ranking improve!
